Wings minus 6 hosting Mystics

The timing is bad for Washington here. Not only are the Mystics playing a rested Wings team on the road, but they just lost their star player, forward Elena Delle Donne, to an ankle injury.

The Mystics also are without center Shakira Austin, out with a hip injury. Austin is Washington’s rebound leader and third-leading scorer at 11.4 points. Delle Donne leads the Mystics in scoring at 19.5 points, which is tied for the seventh-highest scoring mark in the league.

This also is the Mystics’ third game in five days and fifth straight game at a different arena.

Dallas last played on Tuesday. The Wings held the Mercury to a season-low in points in a 77-62 road victory.

The Wings are the top rebounding team in the WNBA. The Mystics are going to be at a huge disadvantage without Delle Donne and Austin. Washington is 2-7 ATS following a loss and 3-8 ATS the last 11 times playing the Wings.

I finished No. 1 at VegasInsider.com in both NBA and NHL this past season. I also ranked No. 2 at Vegas Insider last college football season in winning percentage going 67-39 for 63 percent. I have beaten the NFL in 25 of the last 30 years. I had beaten the WNBA in four of the last five seasons heading into this year but have a losing record so far this year in the WNBA.
