Thunder plus 13 1/2 at Spurs
I understand the rebuilding, inexperienced Thunder have the fourth-worst record in the NBA at 20-48. But they also have the second best point spread mark in the league covering 61 percent of their games.
Gregg Popovich is a nice story for the Spurs. But Popovich’s career wins can’t hide the fact that San Antonio is 17 games below .500. The Spurs are 13-22 at home. They have lost seven of their last nine overall games and are 4-9 ATS during their previous 13 home contests.
San Antonio has no business then laying this high of a number against any NBA team.
Oklahoma City has one of the hottest scorers in basketball, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He’s scored 30 or more points in eight of the Thunder’s last 10 games.
The Thunder have excelled point spread-wise in this type of situation going 20-9-1 ATS versus below .500 opponents and 22-8 ATS during their past 30 road games. They also are 10-6-1 ATS the past 17 times when taking double-digits.
I am 17-11 on my last 28 NBA premium/free sides plays and have an NBA sides play going today along with this free selection. I am 17-9 on my last 26 college basketball premium/free plays and have a Max Unit NIT play heading my Wednesday card. I am 1-0 on my NIT Max Unit plays after cashing a winner with underdog Cleveland State against Xavier last night.
