Cavaliers plus 7 1/2 at 76ers

I’m going to buy low here on the Cavaliers, arguably the most improved team in the NBA.

Cleveland has dropped two in a row with the latter being a dreadful, 119-98, home loss to the Hornets two days ago. Cavaliers coach J.B. Bickerstaff was so frustrated he got ejected for two technical fouls. Bickerstaff never had been thrown out of a game before as Cleveland’s coach.

So I have to anticipate Cleveland will have its intensity up for this matchup.

The 76ers, on the other hand, are fat and happy winners of four in a row with the last three coming with James Harden on board. Philly just spanked the Knicks, 123-108, this past Wednesday. The 76ers have a more challenging matchup on deck traveling to Miami to meet the Heat Saturday.

Cleveland has the makeup and style to give the 76ers problems. The Cavaliers rank No. 1 in the NBA defensively giving up 103 points. They have a tall, athletic front line.

The 76ers aren’t dominant at home with a 17-13 mark. Cleveland has as many road victories as the 76ers do home wins. The Cavaliers have an excellent track record in these types of situations, too, covering 14 of the last 20 times versus above .500 opponents.

I am 11-5 on my last 16 premium/free college basketball plays and 10-5 on my last 15 NBA plays. I have a pair of CBB plays today headed by my Triple Star False Favorite. I also have a Double Star NBA play in addition to this free selection. This is a great time to get on board with a subscription with March Madness upon us and the NBA regular season heading down the stretch. Best of luck and no bad beats!
