Ohio State-Purdue Under 142 1/2 (Early Start)
We have history with these two teams. Purdue beat Ohio State twice this season – 67-60 at home and 67-65 on the road for combined totals of 127 and 132.
I don’t see a big uptick in scoring given that Purdue plays at a slow pace, this is the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Conference Tournament and the game is at neutral site Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. This is the venue where the Colts play. It’s a huge dome football stadium converted to a basketball court, which makes it a tough shooting site.
The Under is 4-2 in the Big Ten Conference Tournament with the six games falling Under by a combined 56 points. One of the Over games was Ohio State beating Minnesota, 79-75, on Thursday. Note, though, that 26 points were scored during the final 95 seconds.
