Warriors minus 3 1/2 hosting Heat
Golden State has been playing its best basketball. The Warriors are 5-1 in their last six games with their lone loss coming on the road to the defending world champion Nuggets.
The Warriors have won their last eight home games. Golden State hosts Miami, which is embarking on a five-game, nine-day West Coast trip. The Heat are a season-best six games above .500. However, they’ve feasted against weak competition going 13-4 vs sub .500 opponents.
The Heat enter this game with half of their rotation banged-up. Caleb Martin and Josh Richardson are doubtful. Jimmy Butler, Duncan Robinson and Kyle Lowry are all questionable.
So given these circumstances, I’m going to lay the short number with Golden State.
