Buffalo minus 13 1/2 hosting Bowling Green
Buffalo is 4-4 so perhaps you think this point spread might be too rich.
It isn’t.
Bowling Green is terrible. Buffalo needs this game to move within one-half game of Kent State and Miami of Ohio in the East Division of the MId-American Conference as both Kent State and Miami of Ohio are idle. So the Bulls won’t be taking the Falcons lightly, or letting up.
The Falcons made an impression on the oddsmaker by upsetting Minnesota as a 30 1/2-point road ‘dog last month. But after that game, the Falcons began MAC play where they are 0-4 culminating in an egregious, 55-24, home loss to Eastern Michigan last week.
The Falcons have lost 17 of 21 MAC games since 2018. The Falcons rank 127th in rushing. Their QB, Matt McDonald, has seven interceptions to six TD passes. Bowling Green hasn’t scored more than 20 points in five of its eight games. The Falcons are equally inept in passing and running.
The Bulls are looking for their third straight win. They blew out Akron, 45-10, on the road last week using a balanced attack racking up nearly 500 total yards.
Buffalo has covered eight of its past 10 home games and has dominated Bowling Green. The Bulls have defeated the Falcons four straight times, including 42-17 last season.
(I have my strongest college football card of the season going today headed by my Game of the Year and Total of the Month. I am 15-5-1 on my CFB Max Unit plays after winning with Nevada-Reno Friday night. I also am 20-4 on my CFB totals.
