Rockies minus 1 1/2 runs minus $1.05 (run line) hosting Giants

The Rockies are hot winning seven of their last eight games. They don’t have Wade Davis available to blow any leads either. Davis is out with a shoulder injury.

So the coast is clear to lay the Rockies on the run line against the struggling Giants, who are projected to start Kevin Gausman.

San Francisco is 8-22 in its last 30 games at Coors Field. I’m not expecting Gausman to change that trend. Look up innings-eater and you’ll spot Gausman in the baseball dictionary. He’s a below average starter with a career 4.31 ERA and 1.35 WHIP.

The Rockies are averaging 5.3 runs per game and rank second in most hits per game. They should have no problem with Gausman and a weak San Francisco bullpen especially playing in Coors Field.

Colorado starter German Marquez is emerging as a solid pitcher in his third season. He has a 1.54 ERA in two starts this year. Colorado’s bullpen has been surprisingly effective with the exception of Davis, who won’t be around to blow torch a lead.

I have won 64 percent of my baseball plays this season and have my Total of the Week heading my Tuesday ticket. This is my strongest totals play of the season so far. I’m hitting 60 percent of my NBA plays this season and am involved in an early game today. I also am beating the NHL for a fourth straight year and have my NHL High Roller Parlay going today. I won my Monday High Roller Parlay with the Oilers and Over in the Blackhawks-Oilers game.
