Boston College plus 7 1/2 vs Clemson (ACC Tourney)

Now that the line has reached 7 1/2, I’m going to get involved with underdog Boston College in this second-round matchup of the ACC Tournament.

The Eagles were impressive in an 81-65 win against Miami in their first round game on Tuesday. That was their third straight victory. I see the Eagles riding that momentum.

Clemson enters the ACC Tournament having surrendered an average of 78 points during its last two games vs Wake Forest and Syracuse. That’s seven points above the Tigers’ season defensive average.

The Tigers beat Boston College, 89-78, in the lone series meeting this season on Jan. 13. However, the Eagles didn’t have their star 7-footer, Quinten Post. He missed that game because of the flu. Post leads Boston College in scoring and rebounding. His presence is needed to counter Clemson center PJ Hall, who leads the Tigers in scoring.

I’m having winning seasons both in college basketball and NBA. My Wednesday card is headed by my NBA Eastern Conference Game of the Month as I look to extend my NBA premium play run to 50-33.
