Senators plus $1.23 at Predators
Ottawa suffered a disappointing loss to Washington last night. But the Senators have been playing well and are in a great situational spot to ambush Nashville.
The Predators return to Nashville for their first home game since Feb. 15 having just gone 5-0 on their five-game, nine-day road trip that concluded on Sunday night in Anaheim, Calif. The Predators had never gone unbeaten on a road swing of at least five games.
But this success and long-time away from home makes the Predators vulnerable here. Their concentration and focus could be off having just gotten back to town yesterday.
The Stars were upset by the Islanders at home last night after having played four consecutive road contests. That could happen in this spot, too.
Ottawa is 9-6 in its last 15 games. The Senators have a winning record this season when playing without rest.
Nashville has a losing home record. The Predators have been up-and-down all season. They embarked on their road trip going just 1-4-1 in their previous six games. They have lost four of their past five home games.
