Bulls plus 11 1/2 at Bucks
The Bucks returned home after losing to the Pacers, 128-119, this past Thursday in Las Vegas during the semifinals of the NBA’s inaugural in-season tournament. The Bucks were the top seed in the tournament.
Milwaukee won’t have to wait long to get revenge. The Bucks host the Pacers on Wednesday. But first there is this matchup. The Bulls have taken this rivalry far more serious than the Bucks have for years.
Chicago is hot, too, riding a season-best four-game winning streak. The Bulls have beaten two good teams during this streak – the Pelicans and Bucks.
The Bucks are serious title contenders because they traded for Damian Lillard. However, they lost Jrue Holiday in that trade. That has considerably weakened Milwaukee’s defense. The Bucks rank 24th defensively. They are giving up six more points per game than the Bulls, who rank 14th defensively.
