Cowboys minus 16 1/2 hosting Giants
The Giants are starting undrafted rookie Tommy DeVito against the Cowboys in Dallas. They might as well start Danny DeVito because New York has no chance here.
Dallas defeated the Giants, 40-0, opening week when Daniel Jones was New York’s starter and the season hadn’t veered off course yet. It sure has now.
The Giants are down to the Vaudeville duo of DeVito and Matt Barkley as their remaining healthy QB’s. The Giants are the lowest-scoring team in the league at 11.2 points. That average shrinks even lower to 8.7 points if you discount the Giants’ 31-28 victory against the Cardinals back in Week 2.
The Cowboys give up the third-fewest yards per game and sixth-fewest points a game. Dallas’ offense is clicking now, too. Dak Prescott has thrown for an average of 316.6 yards in his last three games, while accounting for nine TD’s and just one interception during this span.
Dallas is at its most explosive at home, averaging 38.6 points during its past eight games at AT&T Stadium.
