Atlanta Dream plus 1 at Indiana Fever

Even if they don’t have its star guard, Allisha Gray, I like Atlanta to beat Indiana. Gray has missed the last two games because of an ankle injury. She’s the Dream’s second-leading scorer at 17.5 points per game.

Obviously it’s a nice bonus if Gary plays – she’s listed as questionable – but Atlanta should beat the Fever without her.

Atlanta is a middle-of-the-road team, while Indiana ranks with Seattle and Phoenix as among the three-worst teams in the WNBA. The Fever are riding a season-high two game win streak. Those victories, however, were against Seattle and Phoenix. The 10-24 Fever haven’t won three in a row all season.

Atlanta should have halted Los Angeles’ six-game win streak this past Friday. The Dream let a 16-point lead slip away in an 83-78 loss. Atlanta coach Tanisha Wright ripped her team following that defeat citing lack of toughness both mentally and physically.

Players usually respond well when a coach questions their toughness.

The Dream beat the Fever, 100-94, when the teams last met in Indianapolis back on June 18. It was the fourth straight point spread cover for the Dream in Indianapolis. The Dream also won and covered in their last game against the Fever, defeating them, 82-73, as 8-point home favorites on August 6.

My Sunday card is headed by my Canadian Football League Game of the Month. I am 10-3 on my last 13 premium/free CFL plays and 42-26-1 on my last 69 CFL premium/free plays, beating the league for the ninth time in 10 seasons. I also have a pair of early-start time baseball plays today, looking to push my MLB hot streak to 8-1 on my last nine premium/free plays. If you’re interested in my sports service, please email me at scriber26@gmail.com, or message me via Twitter.

Best of luck and no bad beats!
