Guardians plus $1.40 at Rangers
I find this lay price to be steep. The Rangers are just 4-8 in their last dozen games.
The pitching matchup pits Guardians rookie Gavin Williams, their No. 1 prospect, against Andrew Heaney.
This will be Williams’ fifth big league start. He’s coming off his first major league win. Williams has a 100 mph fastball.
Heaney is 5-6 with a 4.71 ERA. Heaney last pitched against the lowly Nationals a week ago. He surrendered seven earned runs on eight hits and one walk in three innings. The Rangers lost that game, 8-3.
The Guardians rank No. 2 in bullpen ERA at 3.34. The Rangers are 25th in bullpen ERA at 4.49.
I finished No. 1 at VegasInsider.com in both NBA and NHL this past season. I also ranked No. 2 at Vegas Insider last college football season in winning percentage going 67-39 for 63 percent. I have beaten the NFL in 26 of the last 30 years. I am coming off a 5-1 Friday. My Saturday card is headed by my Canadian Football League Game of the Year. I am 33-23-1 on my last 57 CFL plays.
