Diamondbacks at Brewers Under 8 1/2 (Early Start)

I don’t see these teams reaching nine runs in this early start get-away game with a pitching matchup of Zac Gallen versus Julio Teheran.

Gallen has cemented his status as one of the top pitchers in the National League. He’s 8-2 with a 2.96 ERA. Gallen has a 1.86 career ERA in five starts versus Milwaukee.

The Brewers have a bottom-five offense ranking 28th in batting average, 25th in runs and 26th in OPS.

Teheran was perhaps the top pitching prospect in baseball when he broke in with the Braves back in 2011. He’s a remarkable story so far this season after being out of the majors last year.

The Brewers signed him as a free agent a month ago. Since then, Teheran has made five starts going 2-2 with a 1.78 ERA. He’s posted this low ERA  using guile instead of being a power pitcher, changing speeds and hitting spots.

The Diamondbacks are swinging hot bats. But their timing could be messed up going against Teheran, who is 4-1 with a 2.98 ERA in 11 career starts against Arizona.

It has been a losing baseball season for me so far. I’m trying hard to get things turned around. I am 5-1 the past two days on my premium/free baseball plays. I finished No. 1 at VegasInsider.com in both NBA and NHL this past season. I also ranked No. 2 at Vegas Insider last college football season in winning percentage going 67-39 for 63 percent. I have beaten the NFL in 25 of the last 30 years. If you are interested in my sports service, please email me at scriber26@gmail.com, or message me via Twitter. Best of luck and no bad beats!
