Miami Dolphins Under 6 Wins
The Dolphins entered last season regarded as the worst team in the league. They managed to pull off five victories. The Dolphins aren’t much more improved this season and no longer have the advantage of opponents taking them lightly, or catching teams by surprise.
The Dolphins are thin in the trenches, weak in the skill position spots, lack depth and are extremely young with just Ryan Fitzpatrick over 30. They have 11 players 22 years or younger. This youth and inexperience could be a real negative when focus is a major issue with so many unknowns due to COVID-19.
Tua Tagovailoa has had three surgical procedures in the last three years, including coming off hip surgery. I doubt the Dolphins force feed him when they still clearly are in rebuild mode.
Miami could be out of contention by Week 7 opening at the Patriots, followed by the Bills, a Thursday night road game against the Jaguars, then home against the Seahawks followed by road contests versus the 49ers and Broncos. That means the Dolphins will be traveling through three different time zones during a four-week stretch from Weeks 3-6.
