Blue Jays plus $1.45 hosting Angels

Like a bad penny, Edwin Jackson keeps showing up. The Blue Jays are the record 14th major league team he has been on.
Normally I would look to fade Jackson, but this actually is a rare spot to put a peanut on him because of the decent-sized home plus price.
The Angels are 16-19 on the road. They are going with an opener for this matchup. First, Luis Garcia with his 4.74 ERA followed by Felix Pena and his 4.55 ERA. The Angels’ bullpen is mediocre at best.
Toronto is coming off a 3-3 road trip that was culiminated by a confidence-building 12-0 Sunday victory against the Astros. The Blue Jays should be focused and motivated having been swept by the Angels earlier in the season.
Jackson certainly knows how to pitch, this being his 17th big league season. He pitched decently in his last outing, giving up two runs in five innings of relief work against the Orioles this past Wednesday.
Jackson went 2-0 against the Angels last year posting a 1.42 ERA in 12 2/3 innings.
(Editor’s note: Stephen Nover is 26-15-2 on his last 43 premium/free baseball totals plays for 63 percent. Stephen’s Monday card is headed up by a strong MLB Over/Under play. If you are interested in Stephen’s sports service please contact him at scriber26@gmail.com or message him via Twitter.)
