Brewers minus $1.26 at White Sox
The price has come down enough where I find the Brewers to be solid value.
The Brewers are much superior to the rebuilding White Sox in every facet. They are 18-10 on the road and have a winning record versus southpaws. Milwaukee is in a good place right now winning eight of its last 10.
Not so for the White Sox, who own the lowest win percentage in the majors. Chicago is 1-6 in its last seven games and going with lefty Hector Santiago, who probably shouldn’t be in a big league starting rotation. He has a 4.87 ERA and has yet to impress.
Brewers starter Chase Anderson had a breakthrough season last year going 12-4 with a 2.74 ERA. He’s healthy again and poised to start pitching better. Milwaukee owns a monster bullpen edge.
Milwaukee is a road favorite, but the price doesn’t accurately reflect the huge disparity between these two teams.
