Lightning minus 1 1/2 plus $1.25 (puck line) hosting Rangers
The Rangers are 3-13 in their last 16 games versus opponents with a winning record and coming off a bad 3-0 home loss to the Jets two days ago. I can’t see the Rangers hanging in on the road against Tampa Bay with their torn-apart roster.
Not only do the Lightning possess a strong talent edge, but they should have plenty of motivation to bury the Rangers, who are a real long shot to make the playoffs being seven points out of the second wild card spot with 15 games left.
Tampa Bay has revenge for a 2-1 home overtime loss to the Rangers and has plenty of former Rangers on its squad.
(Editor’s note: Stephen Nover is going for his third straight winning NHL season and is 6-3 on his premium hockey plays this month with his NHL Underdog Game of the Year going today.)
