Talking Stanley Cup

On April 14, 2017, in NHL, by Stephen

The first two days of Stanley Cup action are in the books. The results show:

None of the eight games resulted in an over. The under went 6-0-2. No team scored more than three goals.

Road teams are 5-3.

So what now?

I wouldn’t lay more than $1.40 on a home team. The value clearly has been with the visitor. As much as I’d like to take home teams Montreal, Minnesota and Edmonton to bounce back today and even their respective series, I’m priced off all of them.

I’m thinking there could be more scoring now that the initial first game jitters/feeling out process has ended. I’m thinking the Capitals just can’t be trusted. I’m thinking the price is going to be very good to take the Flames against the Ducks on Saturday even though Calgary has lost 28 straight times at Anaheim.
