Giants minus $1.17 hosting Red Sox
The Red Sox upset the Giants on Friday. I don’t see them repeating the feat today.
Boston is starting Brayan Bello, who threw 114 pitches this past Sunday in his last start. Not only is that a career-high for Bello, but it’s the highest pitch count from a Red Sox pitcher in six years.
The Giants are 23-14 at home. The Red Sox have a losing road record.
San Francisco starter Landen Roupp usually is capable of providing five or six solid innings. He’s backed by the best bullpen in the majors. Giants relievers have a combined 2.60 ERA. The next lowest bullpen ERA are the Rays at 3.11.
