Valkyries plus 17 at Liberty

The Liberty just buried the expansion Valkyries, 95-67, at home two days ago. They have a bigger game on Friday when they play at the improved and upstart Mystics. I don’t expect Jonquel Jones, New York’s second-best player and one of the stars of the league, to play today. She is questionable with a hamstring injury.

Golden State didn’t have two of its better players, veterans Tiffany Hayes and Monique Billings, when it lost to the Liberty on Tuesday. Hayes and Billings are each questionable for this game. It would be a bonus if they played. But even if they don’t, I like the underrated Valkyries to stay within this number.

The Valkyries are not the worst team in the league. They are 2-2 and the No. 2 defensive team in the league. The Valkyries should be the more motivated team playing in New York, the media center, after just being embarrassed by the Liberty.

I can’t see the Liberty being very interested in this game. Instead I see them giving their reserves heavy minutes in order to rest Breanna Stewart and their other starters for tomorrow’s game, which would be their first game playing without rest.

I have one of my biggest cards going today with Max Unit plays in the Pacers-Knicks game and in the Oilers-Stars matchup. I am 8-1 on my last nine NBA Eastern Conference plays and 5-1 on my past six Stanley Cup premium plays. I also have a WNBA selection today in addition to this free play. I am 6-3 on my last nine WNBA plays. If you are interested in my sport service, please email me at scriber26@gmail.com, or message via Twitter (X).

Best of luck and no bad beats!
