Dodgers at Nationals Over 9
Even with temperatures in the 40’s and the wind blowing in, I have to figure each of these teams – especially the Dodgers – are good for at least four runs each with a pitching matchup of Justin Wrobleski versus Brad Lord.
These are two young, very inexperienced pitchers.
Lord is making his big league starting debut. He may not be around for too long as this shapes up as a bullpen game for the Nationals.
The Dodgers rank eighth in the majors in runs and have hit the second-most homers.
Wrobleski is filling in for Blake Snell. He was unimpressive in his first major league season last year compiling a 5.70 ERA in 36 1/3 innings. The Dodgers have been bad defensively, committing seven errors in their last six games.
The Nationals rank 15th in runs and sixth in homers.
I am unbeaten on my baseball totals so far this season and have my MLB Total of the Week heading my Tuesday ticket. If you’re interested in my sports service, please email me at scriber26@gmail.com, or message via X. All plays come with analysis and are emailed well ahead of post.
Best of luck and no bad beats!
