Twins Plus $1.95 (Circa) win AL Central
Royce Lewis is hurt. That means it’s officially baseball season. Despite the ever-promising Lewis on the injured list, his home away from home, I like the Twins to win the American League Central Division. I see regression coming for the Guardians, Royals and Tigers. The White Sox remain in Cleveland Spiders territory.
The Twins have three excellent starters, Joe Ryan, Pablo Lopez and Bailey Ober, and their bullpen is even deeper than Cleveland’s.
I also find the Twins’ offense superior to the Guardians, Royals and Tigers, who have a bad outfield made worse by a cluster injury situation.
Right now Carlos Correa and Byron Buxton are healthy. Minnesota has a good nucleus around them of underrated players in Trevor Larnach, Ryan Jeffers and Matt Wallner. The Twins also have several elite minor league outfield prospects that could make their mark as early as this year.
Minnesota is in the argument for having the best relief pitching depth.
I’m not a huge fan of manager Rocco Baldelli, but the Twins have less warts than the other teams in their division. The Twins are the most well-rounded of the AL Central teams. So they are my pick to capture the division.
I am 18-6-1 on my last 25 college basketball max unit plays and enter this week riding a 6-0 college basketball hot streak. I also am 16-8 on my last 24 NBA premium/free sides plays going into Monday. If you are interested in my sports service, please email at scriber26@gmail.com, or message me via X. All of my picks come with analysis and are emailed well in advance of game time.
Best of luck and no bad beats!
