Braves-Rockies Under 10 1/2 minus $1.15
If there’s going to be a Braves-Rockies game that goes Under in this series it is this one. Spencer Schwellenbach vs Kyle Freeland.
Judging by season numbers, you wouldn’t think these starting pitchers can keep it low scoring. Schwellenbach, though, is in good form allowing three earned runs in his last two starts spanning 14 innings with an impressive 21-to-0 strikeout-to-walk ratio during this span.
Freeland is that rare hurler who is comfortable at Coors Field. He is 1-0 there with a 2.51 ERA this season. The Under has cashed in Freeland’s last four home starts. Atlanta’s lineup isn’t nearly as potent minus injured stars Ronald Acuna, Ozzie Albies and Michael Harris II.
Note, too, that Junior Valentine is slated to be behind the plate. The Under is 60-43 (58 percent) when Valentine has been the home plate umpire during the past four seasons.
