Blue Jays plus $1.10 at Red Sox
John Schneider and his underachieving Blue Jays are one of my least favorite managers and teams in baseball this year.
But I like the price and spot for Toronto here.
The Blue Jays have Kevin Gausman going and are expected to get back Bo Bichette from the injured list. He’s been out since June 14 with a right calf strain. Gausman has been at his best on the road with a 4-2 record and 1.86 ERA.
Red Sox starter Brayan Bello isn’t in good form with a 6.46 ERA in his last three starts. Bello has a 5.40 ERA in six career starts against the Blue Jays.
Boston’s ace closer Kenley Jansen is likely to be available since he’s pitched each of the last three days.
